To enable WorkWise Personnel Ltd to provide a first class, professional service, the following applies:
WorkWise Personnel Ltd will need a copy of each client’s Health and Safety Regulations in order to become familiar with client procedures for fire, spillage etc. We will also need to be aware of all fire exits before inductions.
Once approved the candidates will be asked to come to the office for the initial stage of induction. Health and Safety manuals will be distributed to each candidate who will be made aware of the importance of their content.
Testing will be carried out before candidates arrive on site if required. WorkWise Personnel Ltd will ensure that the manual and the client procedures are fully understood by each candidate before continuing with the induction.
When requested, copies of the Kaizen Philosophy and Poka-Yoke can be distributed and all candidates will be informed of these processes and the principles involved. As these could be very important factors of the client’s process, much time will be spent on discussing these techniques and philosophies. Contracts will be handed out and candidates will be advised of their contractual obligations. These obligations include start times, hours of employment, pay structure, supervisor details etc.
Timesheets will be distributed and candidates will be told of the necessary procedures. There are several options open to the client in respect of timesheets:
The WorkWise Personnel Ltd uniform will be distributed (if required). Candidates will be made aware that they must be worn at all times within the working environment and that failure to do so would result in termination of contract.
If required, a member of staff will be present for the intake of staff at the premises and will accompany them on a brief induction tour of the process plant, freeing up valuable time for the client. WorkWise Personnel Ltd will be aware of the necessary Health and Safety to be discussed.
A member of staff can be available at the start of each shift for ‘clocking in’ (if required). This will benefit the client, as a member of staff will deal with all WorkWise Personnel Ltd candidate’s timesheets. The client only needs to sign the completed timesheets at the end of the week to authorised payment of salaries.
