We are looking for experienced, organised and efficient Filing Assistants to join their team in Bishop Auckland. You will support the team with the following:
-Add new material to file records and create new records as necessary.
-Find and retrieve information from file records in response to requests from authorised users.
-Keep records of materials filed or removed using logbooks or computers.
-Scan or read incoming materials in order to determine how and where they should be filed.
-Sort information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical or numerical order.
-Track materials removed from files in order to ensure that borrowed files are returned.
-Gather materials to be filed from departments and employees
-Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines and sorting mail.
Requirements:
This role would suit somebody who has previously worked in training/NHS/Local Authority etc and is familiar with the importance of maintaining an accurate and efficient paperwork system.
Previous Filing/administration experience.
Excellent data entry skills.
Candidate must have the following: Excellent attention to detail used to following audit trails. Excellent Data entry skills.
