Our client an established contract chemical processing company are looking to recruit a time served Maintenance Technician to work on their site based in Hartlepool.

Duties:
Installation, repair, development and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Installation, repair and maintenance of the factory buildings, equipment and fittings.
Spare parts stock control and reporting of requirements.
Cleanliness of workshop, equipment and tools.
Investigating / identifying root causes of machine breakdowns.
Maintaining relevant documentation that supports machine history and identification of improvements.
Exercise the highest standards of Health & Safety at all times

This role is day shift with applicants being available for call outs on occasion

Essentially you must be time served and predominantly from a mechanical background.

17th Edition certificate or electrical knowledge and experience would prove advantageous.

Experience of pneumatics and hydraulics, PPM and machine maintenance.

Applicants MUST have experience working within a chemical environment.
