Personal Best aims to encourage people to into training to boost their confidence, and volunteer to gain work experience, using the excitement surrounding the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. All graduates of Personal Best who successfully apply for a Games Time Volunteer role will be guaranteed an interview.
London 2012 will depend on up to 70,000 volunteers to make sure the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games run smoothly and successfully. Volunteers will carry out a range of essential tasks, from spectator services to language services and medical care.
It is hoped that up to 10% of these volunteers will be graduates of Personal Best.
