What is Response to Redundancy?
Response to Redundancy is a Learning and Skills Council and European Social Fund funded program created to support both employers and employees who may face or have faced redundancy.
What benefits are there to the Organisation?
At the current climate, businesses are finding it difficult to remain full staffed, some businesses have no other choice but to make people redundant as this is unavoidable. As this occurs we are offering employers the chance to support staff in increasing the skills they have and may need to secure employment. Within the Program you will receive:- A Skills Analysis to identify strengthens and weaknesses of Individuals.
- Skills training in searching the Employment Market for new employment opportunities.
- Free Information, Advice & Guidance session in which issues can be discussed and addressed to overcome barriers to work.
- Support in basic Numeracy/Literacy Skills
- Help brushing up on skills like CV preparation, Application Form submission, Interview Techniques, Etc.
- Confidence Building for Individuals who may be returning to the unemployment status after several years of working
- Signposting to the Train to Gain services in order to raise skills levels through free NVQ delivery
Response to Redundancy Programmes
WorkWise Personnel has worked very closely with its registered candidates to help them back into work. Our Training and Development division have been working with candidates and clients across the North East in association with Response to Redundancy Scheme to help those who are facing unemployment and redundancy by providing CV Workshops and workshops investigating effective job search, interview techniques and also providing one to one advice and guidance. WorkWise Training and Development successfully helped 525 learners through this process with over 300 job outcomes at the end of these sessions. Due to the recession the job market is tough right now, although there are signs things may slowly be picking up, job seekers can put themselves ahead of the competition with CV's that stand out and by being fully prepared for interviews and WorkWise Personnel have helped them to find work along with help with their job searching strategies.Congratulations to all who enrolled on the workshops, and successfully found employment !!
