WorkWise Personnel offers the same services throughout London and South Region, from recruitment, learner fund services, referrals and training.
Personal Best is a training and volunteering programme for people who are not in work or education, but would like to gain opportunities to volunteer in their community and at the same time improve their skills and chances of getting a job.
Personal Best aims to encourage people to into training to boost their confidence, and volunteer to gain work experience, using the excitement surrounding the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. All graduates of Personal Best who successfully apply for a Games Time Volunteer role will be guaranteed an interview. 
London 2012 will depend on up to 70,000 volunteers to make sure the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games run smoothly and successfully. Volunteers will carry out a range of essential tasks, from spectator services to language services and medical care.
It is hoped that up to 10% of these volunteers will be graduates of Personal Best.
Am I eligible?
In order to take part in Personal Best, you must qualify under the criteria below:
- Unemployed (but you don’t have to be registered unemployed) / economically inactive)
- You must not be in education, employment or training (NEET - not in education, employment or training)
- If you do not have a full level 2 qualification or above (A full level 2 qualification is 5 GCSEs at grade A-C)
- Must be at Entry Level 2 or above
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
Personal Best will have a particular focus on groups over-represented in the out-of-work sector, including:
- Be over 24 and less than 50 years of age (provided you are 18 by June 2011)
- People with disabilities
- People in receipt of incapacity benefits
- Lone parents
- Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic (BAME) groups
- People aged over 50
- Ex-offenders
- Homeless people
Strictly Swimming
WorkWise are pleased to announce the working partnership between Strictly Swimming and ourselves. Strictly Swimming offer one to one and group lessons to all levels in central London.
They are equipped to bring out the efficient swimmer in you with scientific coaching, 'swimming is a science, and needs to be taught by applying scientific principles'. WorkWise have recently been involved in the recruitment of ASA qualified coaches to strengthen their coaching squad.
Strictly Swimming are the sports science swim specialists equipped to bring out the efficient swimmer in you. We apply scientific principles and biomechanics to your stroke with ‘easy to understand’ coaching.
Coaches are national/international competitive swimmers/triathletes, giving us first-hand knowledge and experience of pool and open-water swimming. We offer top-level facilities with ozone-treated pools.
